Jim Chuchu has a post on his blog showing you how he built a LightBox out of a couple of Carboard boxes, some tinfoil, cables, bulbs and bulb holders. Looks very cool, and should not cost that much to build or run (he used Energy saving bulbs).

Automated printing via Photoshop

Something i dont do that regulary is printing. i prefer soft copy of my photos, which i have on multiple devices and my website for freinds and family, and anyone else, to see. But there is the odd photo which i do want or need printing. Inside Aperture has a post showing you how to automate printing from Aperture via Photoshop. From reading the article, Photoshop talks to printers differently to the way Aperture does. More control? One of these days i will find out!

RAW workflow: A pro’s approach

Check out this Digital photography school article explaining a Pro’s Approach to a RAW Workflow. I have to fine tune my RAW workflow at the moment, as i am having problems (like my Aperture library taking up roughly 30Gb, and i dont even know of what!) so once i do, i will have my workflow listed here, but lets give a high level overview: Camera -> Aperture -> external backup -> top rated go to my SmugMug page.

I have seen a few of these “HDR” photos around, but never actually figured out how to take them or make them. Well, hopefully, with the help of this tutorial over at Backing Winds, I will have some HDR photos for you to check out later on. And if not, at least you have the tutorial! :)
